A Sanctuary for the Wild

The Shanti Space is a calm & quiet venue nestled in lush the landscapes of Portugal, while still being a convenient 30 mins drive from Lisbon.

From spacious group dorms to twin-share, private rooms & teepee glamping tents, the retreat space offers a variety of comfortable rooms for different budgets.

Amongst ancient native corks and abundant fruit trees, swept up in the enchantment of a forest filled valley, The Shanti Space is a sanctuary bathed in Nature.

With a deck surrounded by pine trees, a converted Victorian Greenhouse overlooking the apple orchard & many cosy corners to journal, integrate, or have some alone time - The Shanti Space is truly a haven from the buzz of the outside world.

Organic food from the land

We have two incredible chefs on the Retreat who will create nourishing, local, organic vegetarian meals from the land.

Our chefs love to bring a higher taste to the foods by incorporating knowledge of herbalism, foraged wild foods and the enchanting beauty of edible flowers to nourish the body on different levels.

With each bite, you’ll experience not just a meal but a piece of poetry for the soul and medicine for the body.

All meals are created in an intentional and intuitive way using local and seasonal products.
